Protecting the Education Rights of
Court-Involved Youth and Children
A two-day training for attorneys and social workers on the basics of educational advocacy
Monday, October 23rd & Tuesday October 24th, 9am-5pm (both days)
Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP, 1 Federal Street, Boston, MA 02110
Key topics will include the following: school discipline, special education, how to read an IEP, early intervention services, manifestation determination reviews, school stability, meeting pitfalls, legal advocacy in a non-legal setting, advocating for students with disabilities in the courtroom, and conflict resolution.
6.5 CLE credits per day. Can be used towards YAD or CAFL. Must attend both days.
